Part turn electric actuator is suitable for butterfly valves, ball valves, plug valves, dampers and other valves that can be turned 90°, and is used to open, close or adjust the valve. As a stable and reliable intelligent electric actuator, it can be applied to different control systems and different working environments. The integrated design of the transmission mechanism makes the product smaller and simpler in appearance. Safe and reliable manual design, fully automatic manual/electric switching without switching handles. Good protection level can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof type, integral switch type, and integral adjustment type.
Performance characteristics
1 Housing
Part turn electric actuator is processed by hard aluminum alloy material, which is handled by anodic oxidation process and polyester powder coating, making it corrosion-resistant. It is IP67 protection class and optional IP68 and explosion proof type.
2 Motor
All enclosed squirrel-cage motor small volume, big torque, small inertia force, insulation class F, built-in thermal protection switch, to prevent damage to the motor due to overheating.
3 Manual structure
Part turn electric actuator is characterized by the handwheel design, so that it is safe, reliable, labor saving and small, and has a long service life. Pull the clutch handle for manual operation when it’s not activated. When it is powered, joystick will be reset automatically. (Note: There is a permanent manual function when the motor is not powered up)
4 Indicator
The indicator is attached to the centre of the spindle and it is aimed to indicate the movement of the valve. The mirror is of a convex lens design and there is no water retention,very easy for observation.
5 Dryer
Intelligent electric actuator is employed for temperature conditioning, in order to dry internal electrical components by avoiding water condensation inside the actuator during temperature and weather fluctuations.
6 Limit switch
Mechanical + electronic limit. The mechanical limit screw can be adjusted, safe and reliable, electronic limit switch by the cam control, the exact position, flexibility and accurately to set the limit position (simply adjusting the mechanical support, without Battery contact with silver contacts)
7 Torque switch
Part turn electric actuator has overload protection (except QT-005/008/010), When valve clogging or any foreign matter - which can automatically cut off the motor power, and can more effectively protect the valve and the electric actuator from damage (It's factory setting, no adjustment without authorization can be made).
8 Self-locking
The high precision double worm gear mechanism can transmit large torque efficiently, and has high efficiency, low noise (maximum 50dB), long life, self-locking to avoid back reverse and the transmission parts are stable and reliable etc. It is filled with quality highperformance grease before delivery, therefore users do not need to add grease in it.
9 Anti-off bolt
When the housing is pulled away, the bolts remain affixed to the housing, and do not fall. All external fasteners are stainless steel.
10 Installation
The down installation dimension meets international standard 1505211, and the driven shaft sleeve can be dismantled to process the sleeve according to needs, so it is quite versatile. Part turn electric actuator can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
11 Circuit
The control circuit is compliant to the power supply standard of single-phase or three-phase; the circuit arrangement is compact and logical; the terminal is connected and maintained conveniently and it is with additional functions, which is completely in accordance with process technical requirements. The valve is inherently opened/closed to the same position and with passive contacting outputs (Possibility of also tailoring as per customer).
12 Intelligent module
intelligent electric actuator takes control panel as the core mixing single-chip and analog circuit, integrating degree is high and power consumption is quite low, meanwhile, being an all-metal external hanging installation to make actuator motor heat source and control panel be effectively isolated, thus software/hardware anti-interference performance and temperature resistance being improved greatly.
13 Indication of position of valve by numbers on flange face
During openning or closing of the actuator, the LCD screen is used to display the real-time variation of a large number of valve positions.
14 Automatic adjuS1ment of phase sequence
The intelligent electric actuator can automatically discrimination the phase sequence of three-phase supply, users do not need to consider it.
